ABOUT

My name is Rob Davis. I am a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. While I've always been active, I never fully appreciated being able-bodied until a degenerative bone disease attacked both of my knees. After seven knee surgeries, I was disappointed in having to rely on doctors to be the gatekeepers of my physical well-being, so I studied joint mechanics, anatomy, and human movement. I focused on basic calisthenics training for their accessibility and select gymnastics and free-weight exercises to gain strength. The combination of these modalities have built me strength, flexibility, and balance in a holistic way. I've developed muscle control, tendon strength, joint health, and injury resistance to the point that my body now feels light, fluid, and capable. I’ve traveled far and spent thousands of hours gathering knowledge and skills. I’d like to share with you what I’ve learned and help guide you towards your own fitness independence.
